Disability Services

Having a disability can be
limiting in itself but try not
to let others limit what you
do because they can’t see
your potential.

Art Therapy gives you an opportunity to be who you want to be…to feel what it’s like to have that freedom to explore your emotions. Art Therapy can help you adjust to changes in your life, such as when you are learning to catch transport…working towards a more independent life…and learning to live in the community.  And it can be fun to express yourself through art works. You might explore what it’s like to use clay, or paper mache, or construct something with recycled pieces you find lying around. But most of all, it can help you to get used to being independent and make new friends while you are finding  out more about yourself.

. “Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.”  Albert Schweitzer
