ABOUT US

Welcome

Hi, I’m Diana.

I’ve always been passionate about learning and engaging with people to help them live their best lives. I believe we learn from each other.

I experienced a back injury in the workplace, that forced me to navigate the complex medical system. It was challenging to explain my pain, as it wasn’t visible on x-rays or scans, and my descriptions didn’t always align with medical terminology.

I was lucky enough to find two wonderful physiotherapists that guided me, and who I later worked for while I was studying my degree. Then once I’d finished my art therapy, one of them encouraged me to work with some of her clients. The results using art therapy were remarkable.

I believe in the power of a multi-disciplinary team, but I’ve noticed that art therapy is often underutilized. Art therapy can help you understand your pain and yourself, rather than relying solely on others to make decisions about your treatment.

As a creative person who loves art, photography, and writing, I persevered through the pain for as long as I could. Eventually, I decided that if I was going to be in pain regardless, I might as well pursue my goals and find fulfillment in achieving them, no matter how small.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts and then a degree in Rehabilitation Counselling. Studied Art Psychotherapy and more recently Neurographic art. Through my journey, I met many people who felt lost and misunderstood within the system. This inspired me to help others in similar situations.

I’m here to support you in finding what works best for you. I offer strategies that you can take with you wherever you go. The key is to understand and acknowledge your pain, build your confidence, reduce anxiety, and return to a more normal way of life.

How many times have you felt that you needed a holiday from your pain? I’m trying to help you have that break, get back control and make a goal that is important to you, and achieve it.

Join me on this innovative journey of change. I offer workshops, one-on-one sessions, and Zoom booking
